Hey y'all! I'm Colby. Thank you for checking out my portfolio!
Before we dive into all things work, I want to tell you a bit about myself. I'm a born and raised Texan, and graduated from Texas A&M University in August of 2021 with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Business. Shortly before graduation, I got engaged to my high school sweetheart. We got married in December of 2022, and moved
to the Dallas area from North Austin!

Now diving into work: In June of 2021, I was offered a Social Media internship with ShotGun Spiked Seltzer in Austin, and was then asked to stay with the company as the Social Media Manager after my internship ended. By September of 2022, I was on the hunt for the perfect job in Dallas since I knew I'd be moving there soon, and I found it with Gemmy Industries! As of October, I'm the Marketing Coordinator for Gemmy -
a leader and trendsetter in seasonal and holiday decor.

I created this website through Ecwid after I started a handmade car air freshener business, esSCENTials, so that customers could place their orders directly on my website. (I have since sold the Instagram handle and no longer own this business)
